This quality cam chain tensioner tool is precision CNC machined by us here in the USA and anodized to prevent corrosion and wear.  The thumb screw has a large knurled knob and a machined tip and is black oxide coated to prevent corrosion.

This tool is used to set the cam chain tension when setting the VANOS and cam timing on BMW M52tu and M54 Engines. This is required when replacing cam chains, cam chain guides, camshafts or when removing and replacing the cylinder head.
