German Auto Solutions is proud to offer you our GAS Performance solid ball joint monoball suspension upgrade kit for the F20-F30 RWD Series BMWs, pre-installed into new control arms.
This product is only for the RWD version of the F20-F30 Series BMWs. Find the X-Drive version here.
Our Monoball upgrade replaces the stock rubber bushings in the front control arms with sealed, solid ball joints. This upgrade will result a significant handling improvement via more precise steering control and improved steering feedback. Monoballs also ensure that toe and camber settings are retained under high cornering loads which would otherwise cause the stock rubber bushings to deflect.
This performance suspension upgrade consists of new BMW German made sealed solid ball joints, CNC machined anodized aluminum ball joint carrier housings, stainless steel mounting collars, and stainless fasteners, all pre-installed into brand new control arms. Like all G.A.S. products, our monoball kit components are CNC machined by us here in the U.S.A. to exacting tolerances. We believe that you will not find a higher quality monoball kit anywhere else at any price!

Incredible Upgrade - Monday, September 21, 2026I installed these on my 2015 F30, and what an incredible upgrade they have been. The front end is noticeably tighter, steering is significantly sharper and more predictable, and braking feel is vastly improved. The "dead zone" is gone in the steering wheel, and if you take your hands off the wheel the car is remains stable.
Installation was easy and straight forward (I diy'ed it), and I have not noticed any additional NVH.
Overall, the improvement is both incredible and subtle, in the sense that it is indeed a massive upgrade but it does not negatively change the character in anyway. Really, this is how the car should have felt all along from the factory.
TL;DR: this is the single best handling upgrade for this car, you have no idea what you're missing until you install these. -
Night and Day Difference - 2016 BMW M235i - Saturday, January 27, 2024I replaced worn out tension bushings/ball joints (70k on the car) with this kit and it is a serious improvement. The entire front end is tighter. Steering is much is more direct with more feedback. I used to hate the electric power steering in this car, but it's significantly better now. Highly recommend.
