The German Auto Solutions BMW M52tu-M54 Crankshaft TDC Locking Tool comes from the G.A.S. M52tu-M54 Master Timing Tool Kit.

This quality crankshaft TDC locking tool is precision CNC machined by us here in the USA from 303 stainless steel to prevent corrosion. The stainless steel locking pin has a pressed in 90 degree handle to significantly help in the installation and removal of the tool from the engine block.
This tool is used to set and lock the crankshaft into the "Top Dead Center" position when setting the VANOS and cam timing on BMW M52tu and M54 Engines. This is required when replacing cam chains, cam chain guides, camshafts or when removing and replacing the cylinder head.
